Nathan FODEN was christened on 11 Nov 1838 in Eaton, Cheshire.³⁰ He appeared in the census in 1851 in Eaton, Cheshire.⁴² At this time Nathan is living at The Oak Farm with the Blackshaw family (Thomas & Ellen Blackshaw) He appeared in the census in 1871 in Marton, Cheshire.⁴³ In 1871 he was a agricultural labourer.⁴³ He appeared in the census in 1881 in Marton, Cheshire.⁴⁴ In 1881 he was a agricultural labourer.⁴⁴ He appeared in the census in 1901 in Post Office, Marton, Cheshire.⁴⁵ In 1901 he was a road man (worker working at home).⁴⁵ He died on 24 Nov 1927 in 95 Astbury Street, Congleton, Cheshire.⁴⁶ He was buried on 26 Nov 1927 in Astbury, Cheshire.^47,48 We know that the relatives gathered at 95 Astbury Street, Congleton at 1.20pm. The procession left at 1.40pm for interment at Astbury Church.
