4. Sarah WALLEY was christened on 26 Sep 1790 in Biddulph, Staffs.¹ She was buried on 10 Jun 1813 in Bradley Green, Biddulph, Staffs.^1,2 Sarah was buried on the same day that her daughter Maria was christened and so she probably died giving birth.

Sarah WALLEY and William SHERRATT were married on 25 Nov 1805 in Biddulph, Staffs.¹ William SHERRATT¹ (son of Jesse SHERRATT and Lydia LAWTON) was christened on 15 Jul 1787 in Biddulph, Staffs.¹ In 1805 he was a Shoe Maker in Biddulph, Staffs.¹ In 1813 he was a Shoe Maker in Bradley Green, Biddulph, Staffs.¹ He was buried on 18 Jan 1825 in Biddulph, Staffs.¹ There is some supposition to arrive at the correct William Sherratt. The burial fact for William Sherratt (18 Jan 1825) is the correct location and coincides with the last recorded child born to William & Mary Sherratt (christened in that same year of 1825). The age at death would suggest that the correct christening entry for William is that of 15 Jul 1787 (son of Jesse and Lydia Sherratt) rather than 11 Oct 1789 (son of John and Jane Sherratt). Sarah WALLEY and William SHERRATT had the following children:

7	i.	Simeon SHERRATT was born about 1808 in Biddulph, Staffs.1 The Parish Registers record that Simeon was aged 2 when he was baptised. He was christened on 11 Mar 1810 in Biddulph, Staffs.1
